Fender Stratocaster®

Fender® Stratocaster Daphne Blue Relic.  Believed to be a mid 1990’s American Standard Strat (based on the neck plate serial #, micro-tilt, and swimming pool route).   The neck appears to be an aftermarket piece (right handed - reversed), and is stamped with a date of June 1997.  The neck has a rosewood board with 22 (medium/jumbo) frets, and (approx) 9.5 radius.  The frets (which were really not worn) were leveled & polished, the fingerboard oiled, and the neck was refinished in gunstock oil. The headstock face had new (faux) Fender decals applied and was sprayed with 6 coats of nitrocellulose lacquer.  Both the oiled and lacquered portions were then buffed.  The tuners are Gotoh (right handed) and sealed.  The pickups are a set of Fender® Custom Shop Texas Specials.  The bridge is a Fender vintage-style "synchronized" tremolo (with arm), which was just disassembled, cleaned, lubed, and put back together. Guitar was recently reassembled, and completely set up with light gauge strings. It plays very well, has great action, and sounds like a Strat should sound.  w/ worn Fender®HSC.

Danelectro - "U2"

Late 1990's Reissue - Specifications: Body is "Copper" color (with  off-white binding tape) with the classic masonite top and bottom with plywood frame. Neck is Hard Maple with Rosewood fingerboard, Scale-25”, Frets-21, Body Width-42mm, Headstock Width-15.5mm, Nut Width-40mm. Pickups-2; original style brass, Alnico "lipstick' tube w/chrome plating. Stacked, concentric control knobs (combining volume and tone onto one pot); the heavy-duty, industrial-strength toggle switch; and an alloy bridge with a rosewood saddle. NOS, Mint condition, not even a pick mark, and the neck is perfect. No electronic or mechanical issues. This is a very nice playing, retro looking & sounding guitar, which is appreciating in value.  Sorry no case with this guitar.

TeleStar "Lisa"

Black Sparkle LP style body. Beautiful, singing tone from 2 TeleStar Lightning humbuckers (neck pickup designed with extra high end for better clarity and fast attack. The bridge pickup has higher output with fatter - fuller tone - these PU's were sold seperately for a while), Indian Rosewood Fingerboard, Hard Rock Maple Neck, Lightweight, super resonant, Ivory bound Tonium body with composite top & back (think high-end Danelectro), Master volume and tone, 3-way pickup selector, 15:1 precision tuners, Full scale 22 fret neck, Fully adjustable bridge & truss rod. Truss rod adjustment at head stock, String through body, 3-ply beveled pickguard. Telestar guitars were the brainchild of ex-Gibson R&D man, J.T.Riboloff. Both the Telestar "Mona" and "Lisa" were only produced in 1998 and 1999. The company has been out of business since 1999 or 2000. These guitars are becoming quite collectable, going for over $700.00 with their Silvertone style Amp-in-the-case. This one could pass for new if you saw it in a store. Sorry no case with this one.
